2009: Of the 94 RHS Latin students who participated in the National Latin Exam, 39 have received national recognition. Earning gold medals and summa cum laude certificates are in Latin I: Laura Murdaugh; Latin II: Jessica Bishop, Tia Conkright, and Shannon Farrow; and Latin III: Ashley Cahall and Chris Chan. Earning silver medals and maxima cum laude certificates are in Latin I: Ryan Cooper and Megan Wells; Latin II: Matt Carey, Hannah Herbertson, Mason Poffenbarger, Shawn Simoniz, and Eric Szymkowiak; and Latin III: Sarah Keith and Beth Wilson.
