The 56th National Junior Classical League Convention will be held July 27-August 1, 2009 on the campus of the University of California-Davis.
The VJCL is putting together a tour, July 24 - August 1, to take in the sites and get all interested Virginia delegates to the convention. The tour includes:
Round trip flight from VA to CA & flight from LA to San Francisco
Tour of the Getty Villa in Malibu, a reconstructed Roman villa filled with Ancient Greek and Roman artifacts
Trips to LA Hotspots: Hollywood, Santa Monica and Rodeo Drive
Tours of the sights in San Francisco, including Alcatraz
Meals in Chinatown, Fisherman’s Wharf and the Hard Rock Café
Hotel accommodations and all CA transportation
A price for the tour is not yet available. We await the discount airlines flight schedules which are generally not released until 6 months before departure. Stay tuned for details.
